About Us

The NOUN-ICDL Centre for Digital Literacy is a leading initiative of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in partnership with the International Certification in Digital Literacy (ICDL). Our mission is to advance education, promote digital technology adoption, and equip individuals with essential ICT skills to thrive in today’s knowledge-driven economy.

As a fully accredited ICDL Testing and Training Centre, we provide internationally recognized certification programmes tailored to enhance digital competencies. Our centre offers the ICDL Train-the-Trainer Programme, designed to develop expert facilitators who will champion digital literacy within NOUN and beyond. In addition, we operate a skill-based accredited digital literacy testing centre, serving NOUN staff, students, and the general public to meet both institutional and national ICT development needs.

At the NOUN-ICDL Centre for Digital Literacy, we offer a diverse range of professional and workforce development courses aimed at enhancing ICT proficiency. These courses provide practical, industry-relevant skills that align with global digital literacy standards, empowering learners to excel in their careers.

By integrating digital literacy into its academic and administrative framework, NOUN is contributing to national and global efforts in ICT adoption. Its internationally benchmarked training ensures that learners gain globally recognized credentials, positioning them for success in an increasingly digital world.”

We invite you to explore our programmes, enhance your digital skills, and become a certified digital professional.
